Modes of Payment


There are a host of ticketing schemes based on stored value smartcards to suit a wide variety of needs. There are standard tickets (ST) for one-time travel, tourist passes, and student and senior citizen concession passes. TransitLink is the sole ticketing operator that manages the public transport ticketing system in Singapore. Please visit www.transitlink.com.sg for more info.


In addition to stored value cards managed by Transitlink, our buses accept cash payment. Please prepare exact fare as no change will be given. Passengers opting to pay by cash will be given a ticket as proof of fare purchase.


You can pay for your trip onboard our taxis by cash or card.

There is a 10% administrative charge in addition to the total taxi fare for credit and charge card payments, with the exception of Mastercard payments. Please note that the free administrative fee applicable to Mastercard payments is only valid from 1 March to 31 August 2017. The administrative fee of $0.30 is chargeable after the promotional period. An administrative charge of $0.30, on top of the metered fare, applies for payments made with EZ-link and NETS cards.

Dash (Payment App SingTel)

A mobile wallet payment solution that is supported by SMRT Taxis. You can pay your taxi fare via the DASH application on your mobile phone.
