An SMRT supplementary bus service in Sembawang and Canberra, Service 883M, will be launched on Sunday, 12 January 2020. It is a variant of the existing Service 883, and will call at 7 new bus stops along Yishun Avenue 7, Sembawang Road and Yishun Avenue 5, which are currently not served by parent Service 883.

With Service 883M, Canberra residents will enjoy greater connectivity to Chong Pang.

Service 883M will operate at headway of 30 minutes during Sundays and Public Holidays from 7am to 1pm only, while the operating details of Service 883 remains unchanged.
