[UPDATE] Full Sunday Closure of Selected East-West Line Stations from March to May 2021 for Cable Replacement Works

  1. To facilitate the replacement of 22kV cables along the Tuas West Extension (TWE), selected stations on the East West Line (EWL) will be closed on Sundays from 14 March to 23 May 2021. Train services will operate as usual on the following Mondays.

  1. As part of the precautionary measures to be implemented against power cable faults and potential service disruptions, about 150km of 22kV cables will be replaced with higher-specification cables.
