Commuters & Communities

Centred on our commitment to service excellence, we prioritise our commuters and ensure a better commuting experience. To further enhance and optimise your experience with us, we have streamlined our efforts and introduced 'Go-To-SMRT' across our stations and interchanges to meet diverse needs.

Our People

Our frontliners undergo specialised training to provide first aid and help commuters in need.

Partnering Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), all our train stations and bus interchanges are certified as dementia go-to points and over 3,000 of our people have also undergone training to assist in reuniting lost commuters with their families.

Our Services and Facilities

With Go-To-SMRT, anyone can approach our staff to seek assistance. Go-To-SMRT train stations and bus interchanges are identified by the “Go-To-SMRT – We Love to Help” wall stickers.

We offer a range of services and facilities geared towards:

Administering First Aid

Looking for Missing Persons

Locating Lost & Found Items

Providing Wayfinding Directions

Helping Persons with Disabilities

At our train stations and bus interchanges, you can find:

In our train stations and bus interchanges, we have set up WeCare rooms,  to provide safe and comfortable spaces for unwell commuters to rest and recover, with our staff on hand to assist. We take pride in designing these rooms, adding special touches to create a supportive environment.

Through our collaboration with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), all SMRT train stations and bus interchanges are designated Dementia Go-To Points. Our people undergo training to recognise and support individuals who suffer from dementia. They are equipped to ensure the well-being and safety of these individuals, while making their best efforts to reunite them with their caregivers and loved ones.

Our train stations and bus interchanges feature Kindness Seats with vibrant decals carrying messages encouraging caring and gracious commuting behaviours, like offering seats to those who need it.

Using the Go-To Info Maps located around our stations, commuters can easily find popular places around our stations and bus interchanges and get alternative travel information.
