SMRT is gathering interest of eligible vendors to participate in this Tender for the Provision of The Next Generation Signal Warning System (SWS) and In-Cab Alertness Monitoring System (iCAMS) for an obligatory period of Three years and Optional Two years
Background
The purpose of this tender is to invite qualified Tenderers to submit proposals for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a Next-Generation Signal Warning System (SWS) and In-cab Alertness Monitoring System (iCAMS). The goal of SMRT to have this system is to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and training capabilities within SMRT's train operations by leveraging advanced technology and innovative solutions.
Scope of Works
This tender covers the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the Next Generation Signal Warning System (SWS) and In-Cabin Alert Monitoring System (iCAMS) for SMRT’s fleet.
Key elements include:
1. System Installation: Deployment of SWS and iCAMS across 92 trains, with detailed first article testing (FAT) on Train #1, followed by an option for a full fleet rollout.
2. Functional and Performance Requirements: The system must meet stringent Relevant International Rail Standards, including signal detection and driver attentiveness monitoring.
3. Maintenance: Tenderer must provide comprehensive maintenance for 3 years, with an option for an additional 2 years.
4. Data Integration: The system will be integrated with SMRT’s data environment for operational analysis and simulation training.
5. Training: The tenderer will deliver training and knowledge transfer programs for SMRT personnel on the usage of the Next Generation SWS & iCAMS
6. Intellectual Property: Jointly developed IP will be co-owned, and SMRT reserves the right to replicate system features for internal simulation training.
