Mdm Moliah Hashim is a Director of SMRT Trains Ltd. She was a Director of SMRT Corporation Ltd. Mdm Moliah has retired from a 40 year career in education where she has held several key appointments, including Principal of Northland Primary School and Cluster Schools Superintendent, Schools Division, MOE. Her last appointment was as Principal of Princess Elizabeth Primary School. Between 2009 and 2013, Mdm Moliah served as the Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan MENDAKI, one of the four Self-Help Groups in Singapore.
Mdm Moliah had previously served on several governing boards in the public sector, including the Media Development Authority as a member of Audit Committee, Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (Islamic Religious Council of Singapore), Health Promotion Board as a member of Audit & Risk Management Committee and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Medifund Committee.
Mdm Moliah was a member of the Board of Casa Raudha Women's Home, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. She also served as a District counsellor in the Families and Children Committee for the South East Community Development Council. She was also a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team of PAVE Child Protection Specialist Centre.
Mdm Moliah is currently a Director of Trailblazer Foundation Ltd.
Mdm Moliah holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Science from the then University of Singapore and post graduate diplomas in education and educational leadership.
