Group Chief Financial Officer
Mr Phua Yung Keat is SMRT Corporation Ltd’s Group Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the overall financial strategy and functions, including corporate finance, treasury, tax and capital management for SMRT group of companies.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr Phua was Head, Strategic Finance & Vice President, Finance. Before joining SMRT, Mr Phua was SVP/Head of Finance with ST Engineering’s land systems division. Mr Phua has 20 years of experience in finance, strategic investment and business development roles in the mobility and urban development sectors, including in large-scale integrated projects in China and India.
Mr Phua holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (1st Class) from Nanyang Technological University, and he is also a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK).
