We thank Zhang Rui Zhi for the feedback in the forum letter titled “Uneven floor surface on the East-West Line train” which was published in Lianhe Zaobao on 30 June 2023.
Upon being alerted to the issue, our staff promptly withdrew the affected train. The uneven floor surface has since been repaired.
The safety of our commuters is our top priority. We will continue to do our best to provide safe, reliable, and smooth train journeys for commuters.
We encourage commuters to share such feedback through SMRT SNAP-REP (Snap and Report), a technical defect reporting channel launched to provide commuters with a quick and easy way of alerting us to any technical defect they come across while travelling within the SMRT network.
