To better serve commuters in Sembawang, Chong Pang and Springleaf, SMRT Bus Service 167e will be introduced to provide a faster connection from these neighborhoods to Newton, Orchard Road and Shenton Way from Sunday, 25 November 2018. Distance fares for express services will apply for service 167e.
